During two years IFC will invest in the development of renewable energy sources of the Tomsk region $ 950 thousand, according to the agency "Interfax-Siberia" which representative had visited the signing of the agreement in Tomsk.
The regional administration is going to pay about $ 30 million for the implementation of the project in the form of facilities and personnel.
The project also includes the study of the potential of renewable energy sources in the region, the study of economically and technically feasible technologies for the production of electricity from renewable energy sources, according to the agreement.
