The company ROCKWOOL presents a new product for heat and sound insulation on the basis of stone wool which has no analogues in Russia. Stone wool slabs LIGHT BATTS are light water repellence thermal insulation slabs produced from basalt mineral wool. When packing material vacuum technology is used, and the the manufacturing of the product has already received a patent.
LIGHT BATTS slabs are applied as thermal and sound insulation of light-weight walls, attics and roof structures, including vertical and sloping walls of attics and other partitions. The uniqueness of the new product is above all in the revolutionary quality of stone wool fibers which allow to expose the finished plate compression up to 60%. ROCKWOOL material engineering provided excellent recoverability and continued high performance in all respects. In addition the company's own studies confirm that the material is at least 100 years old.

LIGHT BATTS Scandic offers obvious benefits to consumers because the compression saves up to 3.06 times during the transportation of the material. The product is available in two sizes for the convenience: standard 800x600 (thickness 50 mm and 100 mm) for the carriage of passenger cars and 1200x600 size XL 100 mm for the transportation in large vehicles. The larger size slabs and the use of the 100 mm material thickness allow more convenient and fast installation.
The new product will be manufactured at a new ROCKWOOL plant in Elabuga (Tatarstan).
