Viega Profipress G is the press connector system which has proven itself a million times over. It convinces with copper pipes, high quality HNBR sealing elements as well as intelligent safety factors. The system is optimal for fire or manipulation proof laying of gas pipes and certified in accordance with high German standards for nearly all installations with flammable media: For gas in accordance with German Association for Liquefied Gas DVFG (Deutscher Verband für Flüssiggas) as well as heating oil and diesel fuel pipes according to German Institute for Building Technology DIBT (Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik).
Profipress G is a copper pipe connection system for pipes according to EN 1057 for safe gas installations and manipulation proof laying with high quatity HNBR sealing element. Threaded adaptors and special connectors are made of indestructible red brass.
Profipress G ranges from 16 to 64 mm: Threaded connections, flanges for gas fittings with press connection and meter connection units with connectors for direct pressing of gas pipes are only a small cross section of a system that always allows a quick, efficient and secure gas installation. All sizes have a SC-Contur which shows unintentionally unpressed connections when the system is filled.
With yellow marking, a yellow HNBR sealing element and the yellow dot on the SC-Contur Profipress G offers safety at the highest level. The unique marking of the system prevents any confusion. With the Viega SC-Contur unpressed connectors are visible during the leakage test. The leak tightness of the installation is controlled centrally by a manometer. The pressure range for the test ranges from 22 mbar to 3 bar for gaseous media.
