The Capital authorities were actively interested in the problems of energy consumption reducing and replacement of outdated equipment with the energy-efficient one. And the experience of Denmark, a leader in energy-saving technologies, would be very useful for Moscow.
Experts estimate that there is a potential of saving of about 40% electricity today in Russia in general and Moscow in particular. And this is a huge amount of money that can be spent on modernization.
At arriving at the Grundfos factory the guests toured the factory itself and got acquainted with the system of management and manufacturing quality control. They also attended the seminar on the use of products and new technologies.
"I've made a number of records," Alexander Tatarnikov , Deputy Head of the Moscow fuel and energy sector. "We have got a chance to meet with Danish energy efficient ideas and see how these ideas are technologically implemented.I'm personally interested in everything that can solve the problem of energy efficiency. And I have seen it here. Interesting reports, trips, equipment quality. At the factory everything is clean, tidy, technologically equipped, computerized. Clearly this is quite a modern level of technology i.e. not distant abstractions which are being discussed but it is present."
"The plant provides a favorable impression. The production process is efficient and well organized. Multi-stage control system inspires confidence in the quality of equipment", Alexei Babaev, Deputy Head of Mosvodokanal said. "This pumping equipment is being used in Mosvodokanal. These are mainly, and submersible and well pumps."
During the event Grundfos also introduced its methodology for the pumping systems efficiency assessing which was called Audit of pumping systems. The company has certified specialists, procedures and equipment . This fact makes it possible to analyze the efficiency of pumping systems in enterprises with the issuance of findings and the results which could help to select new equipment with the best features for every specific object.
