Enviva LP and E.ON agreement

The wood pellets are going to be used for generation of electricity in E.ON’s power plants.
Enviva LP, manufacturer of processed biomass fuel in the United States and Europe, and the utility E.ON announced a multi-year 240,000 metric ton per year wood pellet supply agreement.
The contract begins in early 2013.
Enviva will export the wood pellets - that the investor-owned utility will use as fuel for power generation - from its facilities in the Southeastern US to E.ON in Europe.
Financial details were not disclosed.
