On the 17th of November Russian-Danish Conference for Energy Saving will start its work in Yekaterinburg. The event is arranged in close co-operation with Minister Counsellor Klaus Sørensen, Danish Consulate General, St. Petersburg, and Commercial Advisor Julia Mitusova, Danish Embassy, Moscow.. The event is headed by the Danish Ambassador Tom Risdahl Jensen and Anders Hasselager, Danish Energy Authority, and is running with seminars, exhibition and VIP-round table meetings. The aim of the conference is to get into closer cooperation with the Danish manufacturers and consulting engineers for the period 2011–2015.

Energy savings and energy efficiency programs have high priority in both the utility and housing sector as well as the industry sector. In order to establish co-operation and explore project opportunities between the Danish companies and Yekaterinburg, the Russian-Danish conference comprises Concept seminars, Technical seminars and round tables. In parallel with the conference, a company exhibition with individual meeting areas is arranged. Each company disposes of a meeting table and space for 2 quick screen roll up poster. During the day there are coffee breaks and a networking lunch allowing time for individual talks at the exhibition stands.
