Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed two documents concerning housing and commercial services. The first document aimes to encourage the regions which fulfill the obligations on the participation in the State targeted program “On improving the earthquake resistance of residential buildings, infrastructure facilities and vital support systems in the earthquake regions of the Russian Federation for the years 2009-2018”. The regions which cope with their obligations well would receive additional 0,5 billion roubles, Medvedev said.
Another document allows to cancel the decisions of the regional authorities concerning tariffing for water supply and removal if these decisions have been met with the exceeding the commission. This happens rather regularely. There is a possibility now to cancel such decisions in the electrical and heat supply.
