Mykola Pashkevych presented the Draft National Energy Efficiency Action Plan of Ukraine by 2020. The Chairman of the Agency Mykola Pashkevych presented the Draft National Energy Efficiency Action Plan of Ukraine in Brussels. The presentation was held in the framework of the 8th meeting of the “Platform № 3 – Energy Security” of the Eastern Partnership.
The National Plan was designed by 2020. It covers 4 areas of economic activity – services sector, residential sector, industry and transport.
«The main goal of the Plan is to achieve the planned energy saving target of 9% of the average final domestic energy consumption by 2020. It is a difficult but a real task»- said Mykola Pashkevych.
