The aim is to improve energy efficiency of the thermal power station, to estimate environmental problems and necessary environmental investments, to improve environmental and social activities, in particular, to give technical advice on the best available technologies and necessary investment programs. As a result in the operation of rock-coal-fired thermal power stations in the Republic of Kazakhstan would be brought in accordance with international practice of efficient resource usage and environmental impact. Priority area is improving the technology to dust emissions reduce.
Expert Consultant of the Company "R-Engineering" within the international working group of MWH, EBRD and thermal power station specialists took part in full-scale inspection of Sogrinskaya and Ust-Kamenogorskaya thermal power stations and in report development about best available techniques and technologies to improve rates of existing and newly developed thermal power stations.
