Hybrid LG Systems
The 16th European AVOK - EHI Symposium "Modern energy-efficient equipment for heating, water and air conditioning of the buildings. Green building technologies" was held on April 17-19, 2012, within the framework of the 16th International specialized exhibition SHK MOSCOW. At the symposium A.A. Bichev, the director of the Academy of air-conditioning and energy-saving technologies LG Electronics, made a report on the "Introduction of a hybrid air conditioning system for multi-functional buildings".
In his speech A. Bichev introduced the concept of hybrid (ie, combined of different types) air conditioning systems for the building of various applications with pronounced zoning, as well as for buildings with highly variable heat load during the day in different areas (concert hall, office, hotel , shopping area). Hybrid systems combine the advantages of different types of systems. For example, for buildings with open spaces the best solution would be to use the system with intermediate heat carrier, whereas the office or the hotel part of the building will require the use of VRF systems. Moreover, renewable sources of energy such as solar panels, geothermal heat pumps, etc can be used.
The audience was presented series of the major air-conditioning system elements : VRF systems MULTI V III, water-cooled machines of the scroll, screw and centrifugal types, as well as the absorption machines. In addition, a highly actual issue concerning the energy resources consumption control was discussed. In the construction of hybrid air conditioning systems it is possible to use renewable energy sources such as solar panels, geothermal heat pumps which are also manufactured by LG.
