The show occupied all the four exhibition halls in Pavilion 1 of the Crocus Expo center, i.e. a total area of 30,000 square meters (about 7,4 acres), and represented over 300 exhibitors from 12 countries, including Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Germany, Lithuania, Italy, China, Turkey and others. The program featured 12 specialized industry conferences for participants and visitors. Informational sponsorship was provided by 85 industry publications and web sites.
The BUILDEX-2012 professional audience consists of designers and architects, businesses and individuals commissioning construction and finishing work, civil engineers and developers, representatives of trading firms from Moscow, different Russian regions, CIS countries and Eastern Europe. More than 40,000 visits were registered in the four days of the show.
BUILDEX-2012 had official support from the State Duma Committee for Land Regulations and Construction, Ministry of Regional Development of Russia, Government of the Moscow Region, a few industry associations, including the Russian Union of Builders, National Association of Builders (NOSTROI), nonprofit partnership GreenStroi, National Agency for Energy Saving and Renewable Energy (NAERE), National Association of Doors Industry (NADI), Russian Association of Lock Manufacturers and Dealers (RAPID) and other professional unions and partnerships.
